The great challenge of Catholics today is indeed to distinguish between orthodoxy and hetrodoxy. The latter clearly prevails in the institutional Church. Nonetheless, God never leaves us without good shepherds, especially if we are willing to do a little work. We may have a very small group of courageous and orthodox prelates who rise above their effeminate and compromised colleagues, but we have two millennia of Church doctors and saints to rely upon. As corrupt as our age is, there is indeed "nothing new under the sun."
